Why Did You Come?
People join events for different reasons:
- They want to do the handcraft
- They want to learn English
- They want to be with friends
- They want to learn about Jesus
- They want to escape being included in something else that is happening
Regardless of the motivation, God is able to breakthrough and help people discover a relationship with Jesus.
Please pray that God will work to reveal Himself to those who are seeking. Pray that people will be attracted to a relationship with Christ even more than they are drawn to other things competing for their attention. Prayer Items
- Praise the Lord that Pastor Joshua’s father is slowly healing after his accident. Please pray for wisdom in dealing with an under-insured party with regard to the repair of the motorcycle. Please pray that he will recognize his need for Christ as a result of this incident.

- “Inside the Walls of Babylon” is the name of the January 21-25 elementary student camp. The short-term team from Victoria Chinese Alliance Church is making final preparations. Please pray for good communication and that many students will be permitted to attend. Registration will begin this week.
- We are not having large numbers of people attend this year’s Christmas events, but are having opportunities to deepen relationships with certain individuals. Pray they will believe in Christ.
- The Sunday School children are practicing a short play that they will do at the Nursing Home on December 15 and at the Christmas Outreach on December 23. Please pray that the modern version of the prodigal son will touch their lives and the lives of those who watch them.
