Taking the Message to Others
Some people might wonder why we go to the schools and to the nursing home.
The reason is that we have opportunities to interact with more people by going to where they are, They will not likely come to an event held at the church building.

Help Needed!
We are expecting 35-40 students at the “Inside the Walls of Babylon” Camp January 21-25. We have just learned that there has been a change of plans, and we must pay for lunches each day for all the students who attend. In Canadian funds, one lunch costs $2.40. That means we need $420.00 – 480.00 depending on how many students register. (The additional cost of CAD$140.00 for the teachers’ lunches will be covered by the teachers themselves.)
Would you like to contribute?
It is OK to choose to give enough for just a few lunches. The funds should be designated as instructed below. Please do not add additional designations in the comments section. If you would like you can write us an email and tell us how many lunches you are contributing. We’d like that.

In the event that we receive more than what is needed, we will use the funds to provide for ongoing ministry to these students and their families.

Prayer Items
- “Inside the Walls of Babylon” is the name of the January 21-25 elementary student camp. The short-term team from Victoria Chinese Alliance Church is making final preparations. Please pray for good communication and that many students will be permitted to attend. Registration will begin this week.
- The Sunday School children are practicing a short play that they will do at the Christmas Outreach on December 23. Please pray that the modern version of the prodigal son will touch their lives and the lives of those who watch them.
